Jesse Larson Fundraiser

Jesse.jpg

Jesse Larson Fundraiser Saturday, October 26, 2019 starting at 8p.

Our friend and DTH team member, Jesse Larson, was involved in a hit and run accident on Saturday night. He was flown to Oahu, has undergone extensive surgery on his hips and is now in a stable condition. Even after his surgery Jesse is joking and super positive about all that has happened.

His spirits are high, knowing that the recovery is going to take some time, we are going to be holding a fundraiser to support him. We are asking for donations from businesses for a silent auction which will be held on Saturday, October 26th starting at 8p.

If you would like to donate please contact me via phone or email 404.374.6149 / info@dthmaui.com

Please keep Jesse in your prayers and more information to come. The road to recovery is a long one but with everyone’s help in the community we can ease the burden off him a little. Mahalos for reading and more details to come.

Fundraiser & Silent Auction for Mikey B!

08-09 MIKEY B FUNDRAISER FACEBOOK.jpg

Help Mikey B. Get Back on His Feet! We are holding a
FUNDRAISER & SILENT AUCTION Saturday, August 31st, 2019 from 8:30p - 11p Down The Hatch, hosted by Rafael Cursino Rodrigues

Mikey Baldridge has been diagnosed with a rare auto immune disorder called Guillian Barrè Syndrome. When you have Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) the immune system (the body's natural defences) produces harmful antibodies that attack the nerves, causing paralysis. There’s a treatment for GBS but it takes time to work, the damage caused to the nerves moves fast and the recovery is slow and long.

Mikey and his family had just celebrated his son Legend’s blessing on Saturday 7/6, he was not feeling good and his hands and feet started getting numb to the point his legs started giving up on him. On Monday 7/8, Mikey had to be taken to the emergency at MAUI Memorial, after many tests Drs found a diagnosis. The results are shocking since Mikey is a healthy, active person but we know Mikey and his family are not alone, and they count with your amazing support and the support of the community.

Mikey was at Maui Memorial for 10 days and now he is home with his family. His recovery could take from three months to a year. Mikey, Legend and Nell need your help to get through these hard times !!!! Rent, food, medical and rehab expenses will add up fast with only Nell working. They appreciate any donation you can give them and they are thankful in advance for your kindness!

Saturday, August 31st, 2019 from 8:30p - 11p

8:30p - Silent Auction Begins! Over $10,000 worth of items have been donated to the silent auction & we hope you come & big to help support!
8:30p - 10p - Live Music with Peter DeAquino
10p DJ - DJ Gary O'Neal
10:30p - Announcement of end of silent auction winners & viewing of Rafa's View Film & Slideshow.
11:00p - If you are a winner of the silent auction, please make your donation & collect your items!

Come with an open heart | Donate to support a friend of our Ohana & Community.

A Big Mahalo to all of the supporters!
